SO I competed recently, but felt very small after cutting, and wanted a ton more size. I told myself I would bulk till 2010, diet down again and compete.
I didn't do any calculated bulking (big regret), but anyways I've been eating alll clean foods, but tons of it. I'm trying harder, longer, and heavier than ever. But I took a picture today and can't help but want to cut down. What do you guys think? Here's my pics...

I feel like I have gained some solid muscle, especially in my arms, and I feel like i should cut, but I know once I do I'll just decide I want to get bigger. I don't know if I should put my body through a cut, which would mean I'm not putting on new muscle most likely, when my ultimate goal is to be much much bigger.

Holy **** brah. Keep bulking if thats your goal then, forget what you look like now. There would be no point of cutting if your not even where you want to be.. Better yet... Cut, and then bulk right.

Cutting is easy...ummmm since when? If cutting were so easy everyone would be ripped to shreds...lol!!
Take a closer look at your calories. How much muscle do really think a person can add in a years time...it's not as much as everyone thinks...it's a slow process so you gotta be patient!
My advice when it comes to bulking has always been this. Do a clean bulk and slowly increase calories above your maintenance. The idea is to add lean mass with minimal fat. People that bulk the wrong way end up adding more fat than anything else...I've seen it happen too many times. Then when they go to cut, they have to bust their asses even harder to lose the fat...never a pretty sight.
It takes years to add quality muscle to your frame...it's not going to happen overnight. I would cut back on the calories just to drop a little bit of that body fat. Once you get a little more comfortable then go back to a slow bulk.
Keep it clean and lift your ass off...you'll get there!
Congrats on your show!National Level Competitor (Female BB)

I think he means "easy" as in, "everyone knows how. It's no big secret". And that's exactly right. Everyone knows to cut you gotta eat healthy and exercise. The part about being at a calorie deficit might not be common knowledge, but if you eat healthy and exercise you most likely will be at one unless you are purposely bulking. The reason not everyone is shredded is because they are lazy and have no will power.

See that's the problem not eveyone knows how. You can eat healthy, train your ass off, do cardio and if you're calories are not right...you'll be spinning your wheels. How many times have you seen people cut where calories are too low, progress stalls, or they end up losing more muscle that fat...this **** happens all the time because people don't cut the right way...
I agree, people are lazy and some have no will power, but there are others that really do work hard...they just don't have the right knowledge...National Level Competitor (Female BB)

The fact that you were once that lean and shreded is something alot of people would love to be at. So good job getting down there but it looks to me that if you did cut you would just end up looking exactly they same as you did in the first pic just maybe with slightly larger pecs. i'd say keep bulking for now but add in some cardio, if your metabolism naturally runs fast you should have no problem getting lean again.
