Out of 2400 I am assuming? What do your math/reading break down to? I don't know if any college really cares about the writing part yet.

I totally bombed it cuz i answered every question. I have signed up for a prep course, I didn't take a prep course last time. Also my writing section was so bad. I got a 510, and 520 on the reading. I got 620 on math

what did you get on each section? writing section doesn't really matter, or at least that's what i was told. if you did good on math and reading, but bombed writing, don't waste your time. otherwise, it can't hurt to take it again.

1140/1600 on reading and math isn't terrible, but you should probably try again regardless. Definitely room for improvement.

there's a new thing for the college admissions now; Score Choice let's you choose which SAT overall score out of all your retake's you find the best and submit that one; the college can only see that one.

yea i heard about score choice. Ima check that out. I think i can improve my reading section by alot. Why does the writing section not matter?

I got 1860 I think in 9th grade and was pissed. The ACT's easier btw, so take that if you can, but here in the south we do ACT mostly.

Might as well try again, you have nothing to lose. Schools only get your best scores for each section unless you take it more then 3 times I believe.
