I generally don't need music to get into the mood. My best motivation is my mindset. I talk to myself in my own head. I focus better if I isolate myself from my surroundings, but oh well.. I've found these pump me up (when I'm at HOME).
I don't know if anyone has posted it, but I think this is great.
As you can see, this music is UK Hardcore.
I could probably list alot more from Clubland X-treme, and perhaps other albums I've found, but yeah, this came to mind first.Stepping out of otaku life, seeking self improvement.

First post.
Im a DJ, so motivational music for me is mostly electronic. Good uplifting Trance, UK Hardcore, Drum and Bass. Anything catchy. I find I enjoy everything a lot more if I am listening to music, work, cleaning, study.... training!
If its not electronic I like punk/emo/hardcore stuff as well such as, As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, Rise against etc etc.
Buying an arm strap for iPhone was probably the best thing I could have done for my cardio.

To start off the workout, I like to listen to "Training Montage" by Vince Dicola, which is the song played when Rocky is training the final time in Rocky IV for his fight against Ivan Drago. It motivates me to push myself, just like Rocky. From there on out some sort of heavy metal, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, etc.
