Anything with Lindsey Stirling. She is amazing. Her music just puts my mind in the right place before training.

I'm listening to Rick Ross hold me back n realizing its the perfect song the main point of the song is not allowing others or other things to hold u back from ur goals, at the beginning he even talks about his fridge bein scarce... N as a bodybuilder that's not a good thing we have so much to relate to this song it should be our national anthem for 2013

I have an odd mix. The Black Keys, The Sheepdogs, Whitey Morgan and the 78's, Slipknot, 5FDP, Disturbed, Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society, Queen, Cradle of Filth, Stone Sour, DJ Bobby D (a Chicago mash-up techno DJ), Kid Rock... the list just goes on and on. I can listen to pretty much anything but it all depends on if I am doing crossfit, cardio or weights.

I'd say it depends on the situation and the current mood. Some days it's good ol' Swedish death metal from the 90s that motivates me to work harder. In that case, the aggression of the song might be the key motivator. Other days it might be more calm and emotional songs where the lyrics and the message of the song acts as a powerful motivator.
