09-17-2012, 11:44 AM #2431GOAL: Be better than I am
"Don't look at yesterday. You can't change it. It happened. Don't look at tomorrow. It hasn't come yet. What you do today can make up for yesterday and completely change tomorrow. Work on today."
On training hard: "I train my hardest because one day, my life or the life of someone else may depend on it. I train like there is no tomorrow because one day, I may be in a situation where if I don't succeed, there will be no tomorrow."

@ 0:58 pepper you angus.
You may delay, but time will not.
Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task.
Don’t wait for moods. You accomplish nothing if you do that. Your mind must know it has got to get down to work.
Yesterday is a cancelled cheque. Tomorrow is a promissory note. Today is the only cash you have, so spend it wisely.
If you do give up though just think. The sooner I fall behind, the more time I have to catch up.

Two Steps from Hell is great stuff. Some songs better than others, but most are good.
Songs doing it for me right now (mostly rock):
Korn - Another Brick In The Wall (really good for warming-up)
Otherwise - Full Circle
Fozzy - Sandpaper
Three Days Grace - Chalk Outline
Saving Abel - Bringing Down The Giant
Disturbed - Sons of Plunder
Disturbed - Dehumanized
Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare (this one is sickkkkk starts off slow and gets way better)"My friend, your life is now. Take a stand against mediocrity, weakness, skinnyness, and obesity. Make your greatness non-negotiable. Put it into higher gear."
Hold your head high,
Critical Mass

When I first got over myself and started to listen to music while lifting, I would have the theme song to Pumping Iron playing on a endless loop. This went on for about 2 years. Somehow it resulted in a physiological adaption in my body. Because when ever I hear the song, whether inadvertently or intentionally I want to drop what I'm doing and lift. I can feel my veins expanding, my heartbeat quicken, etc, it's quite awesome.
