I'm a runner and my long-run mix lately has been:
Jay Z - 99 Problems
The Pixies - Here Comes Your Man
U2 - Beautiful Day
Big Star - September Gurls
Stone Temple Pilots - Between The Lines
Rascal Flats - Life is A Highway
U2 - Vertigo
NIN - Head Like A Hole
White Stripes - Ickey Thump
Bring the Noise - Public Enemy
Counting Crows - 1492
Velvet Revolver - Slither
Jackson Brown - Running on Empty (obiligatory for almost any running mix)
The Pixes - Debaser
Hootie & The Blowfish - Wishing
Stone Temple Pilots - Interstate Love Song
Keane - Is It Any Wonder
U2 & Green Day - The Saints Are Coming
2Pac - Hit Em Up
Space Hog - In the Meantime
Soul Asylum - Bus Named Desire
RATM - Guerilla Radio
Jars of Clay - Work
U2 - Elevation
Probably a little "easy listening" for most on here but still some good stuff...

For the time being
At the moment I CANNOT stop listening to.....THE OUTSIDE, PERFECT CIRCLE. The words, the mood and the music is enough to let me put it on repeat for a whole gym session!

It has a verrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy long into (01:30) but it's a good beat for pacing.

+1 for pendulum
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6BKBIOtRXw&ob=av2nTraining gives us an outlet for suppressed energies created by stress and thus tones the spirit just as exercise conditions the body

Great Workout Music Website
I use the website workoutmixtape .com
It has great energizing and motivating music that you can listen to on the site. Moreover, the site is updated daily with blog posts and new music and a new recommended workout playlist is updated every week.
Usually, I check the site, throw a couple songs from it on my i-pod, and hit the gym.

I see lots of rap here, not the kind of music that motivates me while working out
I am an electro/house/techno addict, I think it's the only thing you listen to in the gym:
My current favorites:
Steve Angello - Isabel
Thomas Penton - Inside Me
MOAR ??
1. Put THIS in your Ipod
2. Go the gym
3. Start weight training
4. Play the list
5. ?????
6. PROFIT
