Fight Injury
So I am not sure if this is more for here or misc. but I am sure someone can help. I got into a fight with this jackass today who was stupid enough to think he could beat me, some self-righteous psycho who thought "God was on his side", I don't think he got any hits in, if he did I didn't feel them enough to remember. I only noticed any injuries after, the typical stuff, knuckles a little scraped and bloody and some minor arm scratches, but what I am concerned about is it was my first fight in like 8 months and my forearm hurts a little near the wrist, just some soreness, feels like the typical post-workout pain but concentrated there. Is it probably just a bruise or something? I have no equipment and no people to compete against really, any training suggestions to avoid this next time?

Are you serious? Be glad if that's all you got. When you fight outside of the ring, then you deal with the consequences. You're lucky if you didn't get arrested or charged w/ a misdemeanor for fighting.
If you were actually training, then you would wrap your hands, wear a mouthpiece, and be supervised by professionals. If you're street fighting, then you're really not accomplishing anything beneficial. Either way, if you want to be a fighter then get used to bumps and bruises.

I am actually quite secure and quite satisfied with my intelligence, although if I get any uncertainty and need to know how to fix either I assure you I will ask you so that you can have the boost in self-esteem you need, however, that was not what I asked . If you need to know why I got into the fight it is because he refused to leave me alone and when someone throws a punch at me they get ****ed up, that simple.

They don't really issue misdemeanors in the Middle East all that much, the injury got me more concerned because it came from throwing a punch not receiving one.

I am not really so tall, just around average, and I am more lean than scrawny, but if you find a way to get to where I am I am always glad to take a sparring offer, but it would either have to be in one of the styles I know or in MMA which means none of that TKD nonsense and no to most other Japanese and Korean forms.

If your hand was cut or scraped on his teeth you want to go to the hospital and get some shots. The cuts should be your concern, not the wrist.
