Hi guys,
In the past few months I have developed an allergy to casein. When I drink/eat milk products I get bad acid reflux & stomach cramps. I've tried lactose free milk and I still get these symptoms- so I can only put it down to casein.
I've started taking 100% egg white protein- which does the drink, but I am bored of it and it doesn't taste too pleasant. I tried soy protein isolate and I don't really like it (plus it is is high in phytoestrogens). I also tried Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard which still makes me ill.
So my question is- is there quality product that tastes good and doesn't contain casein?... I guess that pretty much rules out all whey proteins.
I've also been looking at Vital Strength Total Protein which is a combination of WPI, SPI and egg albumen. I am hoping that WPI content is low enough not to upset my stomach.
Any ideas or advice?

If you want a slow release that's lactose free: Micellar Casein
If you want a moderate protein that's lactose free: Whey Protein Isolate
If you want a fast protein that's lactose free: Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Isolate
They are all more expensive than their lactose counter parts, calcium caseinate, whey protein concentrate etc. But if you have stomach problems, I recommend these.Reps:
