Doing BJJ and Lifting weights? overtraining?

I just recently started doing BJJ and love it! But I realize that it seems hard right now for me to balance going to the gym AND doing BJJ... is it okay do go to the gym in the morning and go to BJJ at night, or do you think I'm overtraining? Should I limit one day to BJJ and another to weights? what about cardio? Thanks guys... much appreciated.

There is ample time between your training sessions.

I run(jog pathetically) first thing in the morning, lift in the afternoon, and do MT/BJJ at night back to back.

Just make sure you are eating enough.

Just as long as your are not training everyday and get enough sleep you should be fine. See how your body feels from week to week and adjust from there. Most days I lift on non BJJ days but if I do BJJ in the morning I may do some light lifting and cardio later the same day.

You've got to build up to these things brah. Slowly add things in, after a couple of weeks your body will get used to it and you will be fine to train that way. Just make sure you're getting in the right amount of macronutrients.
