Rice power

GOAL 100 pounds. Currently at 118. The idea is to lose enough muscle that I'm not scaring guys away.

METHODSPrimarily diet and cardio.


diet
Rice, veggies, ranch, herbs. Sometimes tofu. Portioned by hunger.

No meat. No wheat. Just rice.

Activity split
1: 45-60 minutes stair climber--> improving time, interchangeable with bodyweight squats if unavailable to make it to gym, ab curcuit
2: 5 mile run-->improving time ab, circuit
3: 1 mile run-->improving time ab, circuit

4,5,6: sparring. Either Kendo or MMA.

Currently:
5'2
118 pounds
Way too muscular.

5/20/09

5 miles. Time was something like an hour 5 minutes, I took a few breaks.

I ran by the gym and did an hour of uphill jogging on the highest incline setting.

15 decline crunches, 5 decline situps.

I haven't eaten anything but a bowl of rice w/ some veggies and vinegar tossed in. I'm kinda depressed and no hungry.

Depressed? Thats not good to hear..you gonna be ok? Just some rough stuff going on right now?

Thats a lot of cardio. How many times per week do you plan on running that much? I'm guessing the 3 activities you have lined out means cardio 3x a week? (or at least that kind of cardio)

My best friend of 6 years got my brother drunk and seduce him, thus cheating on her fiance. This is after she raped me last year in Jan. I can only let go of so much. The cardio was to burn it out of my system. I'll think about food sometime before I hit the sack.

Sorry to hear about your depression, and hope you can let it go.
Make sure you're taking in plenty of multi-vit suppliments along with your diet.

You're depressed state right now probably has a bit to do with your diet.

Today is a sparring day, kendo.

My diet is gonna be the same thing for a while. The reason I add the vinegar with high carb meals is because it increases the acidity of the stomach and thus lets you digest easier.

Thats really cool. My brother recently started some MA recently when he went to college. He does BJJ and hes actually done pretty well. I might try it out next year as well..just dont know what I would want to get into.

good news: sparring went well, left arm is jello.

bad news: i laid out my motorcycle. yeah some of you know I do that a lot. lucky this time it was only my ankle being sprained and a lot of scrapes. i'll be substituting running with copious amounts of caffeine for a week.

to be honest i'm scared to death after today's wreck. I'm so scared I wanna scream.

Edit: it wasn't anxiety or post traumatic stress or shock. It was heat stroke. God I thought I was such a wuss for shaking all night. I have much to learn.

rice, ramen, veggies and olive oil/vinegar. few servings.

threw it all up on this morning of 5/24, so i made high sodium really dry tofu chips to settle my stomach, apparently the crash the other day hit something in my organs... idk. elbow is getting worse, stiff, hard to move, leg is all bacl and blue and the knee is starting to creak a bit>.< i would give anything for a join, even though i haven't smoked for years i'd love a friggin goddam joint right now so i could just fall asleep and not wake up throwing up again.

the tofu chips are yummy though^_^ I wish I could share, they really ARE yummy nummy.

I'm on a long journey to well, become something I've been chasing after my entire life. I just want to get that done, then there's no question about it, I WILL get back to olympic lifting and maybe even bodybuilding, but this is just my personal battle right now. Summer IS here for me. I've been getting roasted a fine shade of red since friggin March, hehe. The holiday is great, I'm waaay hyper now that school is out. I got a promotion from CVS to Walgreens, a pay jump too, so I've had off for a few weeks and am enjoying being MYSELF, and not a model student/athlete/representative of some company I hate. I start back in a few days, but it's good. I'm gonna have to start running through my flash cards again soon to keep my mind sharp... or I could start reading some scifi novels, haven't been able to read for a WHILE cuz i study so much... any suggestions?

I'm a med student, so I have a decent idea of what's going on in my body(I hope).
Luckily I also have the leisure of writing out my own prescriptions, so I finally gave in and got some painkillers, cuz i can't stomach alcohol and I was already throwing up. Now I'm waaay buzzed and uber hyper. I wanna go run a marathon but I know I have to stay STILL and heal... it's so hard, I'm hyber and wanna bounce around... but I will heal... anyone got a sensu bean?

kay so I'm starting my day with two cups of coffee, 200mg caffiene pill, and 3 cups of green tea and some situps. I want my ankle to heal.

Now that I'm on lortab, hopefully I'll stop throwing up everything I eat from the pain I'm looking forward to lots of tofu(I discovered a recipe for tofu chips this morning and they were DELICIOUS) and lots of crackers and lightly salted, slightly burnt grilled veggies so that they're dry and a little less flavorful and won't induce me to gag. Christ I feel like I have morning sickness, even though that's technically impossible... did I mention I switched up my hormones from a generic to brand name temporarily cuz I'm low on finances and had to go on my stash? So my unusual pregnant woman-like cravings are even WORSE, I have a desire to blend up steamed leeks with peanut butter and tobasco sauce and serve use it as a dip for dry, uncooked crunchy ramen. Dun worry I'm not gonna dream of doing that or I will become even more malnourished... main goal for today is just to keep at least a minor amount of food in my system! The tofu is staying down thus far and so I'm really excited about that^_^

Yaaay sunday!

It's not sad, I feel AMAZING, it's like everything is clean and i'm bouncy all the time!

MMA and Kendo, amongst other things. It's not something I take too seriously or have any desire to compete in and I couldn't anyways due to my weird gender screwup situation, but it's still a ton of fun, it REALLY is. There's a lot more interaction and team work than at the gym.

Damn...sorry to hear about the sick feeling. Hopefully you heal up properly and theres nothing seriously wrong. Checking out a doc wont be the worst thing to do. The doc may be able to tell you something you couldnt tell on your own (internal injuries).


So what was it about Pharmacy that you didnt like?

I feel a ton better now that I've got like 2000mg of tylenol in my systemO_O swelling is all gone, and the hydrocodone is supposed to make you drowsy but cuz I'm ADHD it's got me crazy HYPER.

Pharmacy... medical field... it's all about money. Docs should tell people do quit being ****in fatasses and quit prescribing expensive meds and just tell em to tough it out. People are DUPED into believing they're, "broken" and "need" medicine to live, well there's proven cases over and over again of people dieting and just WALKING daily and getting healthy enough to get off all their medicine. Being in pharmacy has made me hate mankind, lazy, selfish, freeloaders. They watch CNN and believe whatever it says, they can only think about what the government owes them and whine about ever dime that they have to give up. It's not about what they can contribute to the USA, it's what the government, "owes" them. What they are, "owed" is a goddam treadmill. Ugh. I hate my country, I hate to say it, but I'm ashamed to be an American because we're just becoming so obsessed with drugs and sex. It's like that's all we live for, is drugs and sex.

Kay, knee is feeling close to 100% again, the elbow is really jacked up. Ankle is the same as knee. I'm anxious to hit the pavement again.

I had another issue with spontaneous vomiting. Like an hour after I ate(usual rice and veggies) I just threw it all up, and was nauseated all night at the slightest smell of food. Didn't feel sick, just miserable cuz my stomach was clenched up like that. Someone suggested a stomach ulcer, possible internal damage from the wreck, or a subconscious case of bullemia lol. I think I'm ruling out all of them and going for malnutrition of protein and other stuffs, so I'm gonna eat tofu for breakfast every morning.

Sorry to hear that...if its not better by now though I hope you've gone to a doctor. I'm usually the last person to want to go to a doctor and just get better on my own..but with whats been happening, I would hope that you would at least get checked out if its not getting much better.
