Yeah, I have this weight gainer 2200 powdered shake. I usually take 2 scoops and mix it with milk or water. But im getting bored of that taste.. So I was wondering, would it be ok if i mix pepsi or coke with the powder? So that it taste better. I drink 1 can of coke per day no matter what. So could i just mix it with the powder after my workout and then just drink milk with my dinner 4 hours later, instead of having my coke.
or does the soda mess up the ingredients, therefore allowing the product to not work..
in short: could i mix coke with weight gainer powder. instead of mixing it with milk..
MUCH APPRECIATED..

Kind of like saying "use a whole food carb source." Look at the side of the package for your weight gainer. I bet you see some type of sugar (such as dextrose or maltodextrin) as the carb source. That carb source doesn't provide you with any nutrients and you aren't telling him to avoid the empty calories nutrientless carb source...

You really shouldn't be drinking coke on a daily basis 'no matter what' that's really not gonna help you if you carry on doing that for the next few years..
My advice would be to try a different powder, there is all sorts of competition out there, just try samples, or small 1lb pots until you find one you can stand with water, or milk if you really have to.. You don't have to enjoy it, just tolerate it. Powders arn't there for a tasty beverage, I suppose you need to look at how much you want your goals before you dismiss the idea of taking powder+water.“Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it ... he who doesn't ... pays it.”
