Potatoe Bread!!!
I eat a lot of Potatoe Bread! I am sure It must be better than White Bread -- But I CANNOT eat Wheat Bread -- It drives me sick!
How bad is Potato Bread for me on a Bulk (dirty, clean) or Cut?
(PS: Right now I'm on a semi-clean bulk)

wtf does 'empty carb' even mean? you mean not much fiber or micro nutrients? - yea ....
if you're relying on bread to get your fiber and vitamins you're doing it wrong anyway.

It's just a stupid made up term like empty calories.
So many people have been confused into thinking "empty calories" is actually a real thing and bad for you.

As long as it isn't the only carb you eat, it's fine.

Their is no difference between them and regular carbs so why do you feel the need to classify them like they're something entirely different.

Strong ignorance here. I don't eat my carbs for protein. That doesn't make any sense. Potato bread still has carbs in it which still provide your body with calories which still provide your body with energy. What's the problem?

other than the 4 calories per gram, just like any 'other' kind of carb. you know, we eat them sometimes to stay at an optimum calorie level for our goals.
so i mean, other than that, you're right. they offer nothing.

Maybe better for you, but perhaps it's not better for myself or the OP. I need carbs and potato bread has carbs in it. Win/win situation.

Oh SNAP! I completely forgot! So, I probably shouldn't eat potato bread after 7pm right? You know, since the human body completely shuts down at 7pm. Instant fat storage.

OP..potato bread is fine, but it is not great if ur relying for nutrients from it, it's a fine complex carb choice though, would sweet potatos be better, sure for the micronutrients, but if you get all your nutrient needs, then add in that potato bread.
Empty cals/foods is a dumb term, your body still uses the food for energy..for example coke, it's a carb used as energy just like fruit, just minus the fiber and good nutrients you get from fruit. My philosophy, have a banana and a coke
but...
i just ate a plate of pasta and meatballs...i broke two rules fats+carbs and eating carbs past six :O oh nooooo! what happens nowww?!?!

thanks. that is what I thought -- I eat plenty of Fiber and my micros are fine (outside of the potato bread)
I only eat Potato bread with my Eggs (in the morning, just 1 slice).
With my Tuna sandwiches (2 slices) -- so about 3 slices per day.
Potato bread is so much tastier and easier to down than Whole Wheat bread.
However, does anyone agree with me that Potato bread is in fact better than White bread? :-) -- Im sure the answer is somewhere within those posts but most of the posts were people argueing with each other and made me skip parts.

I'm not a big fan a white bread either, taste-wise. Potato bread + gouda cheese = a very tasty grilled cheese sandwich.

For taste, I can't stand white bread unless it's a really high quality white bread, not that cheap **** you buy in the grocery store. However, I prefer potato over white but whole wheat is my favorite. The smell of a quality brand of whole wheat is fantastic.
If you prefer potato, eat it.
