DTrulez616: Bigger, Faster, Stronger!
Name: Zack Feeney
Age: 18
Background: I grew up kind of chubby, never really fat. I was a very lazy kid though. I was never really involved in any sports or physical activities. I only played Little League Baseball during the spring. As I pursued to become a better baseball player, I went to train to become more atheletic. I ran track Sophmore year of High School and then played baseball that spring for my school leading the team in Batting Average. I grew fond of running and ran Cross Country my Junior and ran Track for the rest of the school year. I took up weight lifting in the spring but also picked up a severe eating disorder with it. I suffered all summer and it was related to personal issues in my own life. Alot of things had changed so drastically. Now I have 80% recovered from the ED and on the verge of starting my life as im 1 month away from graduating High School.
Let's Get Serious!
Stats:
Height: 5'11''
Weight: 151 lbs
BF: 5-6%
Previous Log:
From Chunky to Skinny, Now lets build some mass!
Currently im trying to become just an all out physical beast. Im not really focused on bulking like I was previously. I want to maintain and maybe gain like 1lb a month. I train mostly 2X a day so i have the calories set very high. 4-5000 a day and ive been maintaining my weight with that amount. Im currently lifting 4X a week and running around 40-60 miles a week.
The Update:
I left you guys in a fit of rage in my last log. I was sick of people telling me how I felt and how my workload was too much. I respect you guys for looking out for me but ive kept up that workout and increased on it a little since I last left you guys and ive been feeling great. Im getting faster, stronger, and im starting to see physical improvements in my body. Im up above 150lbs and im currently happy with my body right now.
Ready? I quit track. Yes, you read that right. I went to one practice and had to quit. I was dealing with to much personal trauma at the time that I couldnt consentrate on school, track, and everything else. The one thing I did pick up though was marathon running. I want to run a marathon. Since I last posted here ive started training to run a marathon. I have been putting myself to physical hell as of late and its been fun to say the least, lol. My mental state is alot better then before. You will see a completely different person in here.
So if you guys are ready to accept me back, im ready to accept you guys to come back along for the ride. This time, no games and detours like before.

I'm sorry, but everytime I see your name (Feeney), I think of Boy Meets World and LOL. Dang that's a lot of running, my man. I've got a couple friends who are into running a lot so I have nothing but respect for those insane feats. A marathon would be awesome. Also, if you're downing all of those cals, you better post some food porn

Wow, very surprised to hear you quit track, but it seems like your head is in the right place. Best of luck.

Lol, alot of people when they first meet me and ask my name they come right out with the Boy Meets World thing. If I can come up with a camera then food porn will be here, ive got some crazy creations ive come up with recently.
Lets do this thing.
Hey, everyones got their priorities. Thanks for stopping by bro.
Put up or shut up definately. Lets do the walking and quit talking.
Lol, that was unintensional. I didnt realize I stole your heading. I just figured big and red would get peoples attention. And hey, all critiquing is welcomed.
Hopefully I can get some starting pics if I can find a camera. Workouts and running has just been made on the spot when I wake up. Judging by the way I feel.
Welcome
It will be great to have your words.
Lets do it! Just checked your log, youre on the right path bro. Sucks that you had a ****ty ending to track though.
Today:
There was no workout today but what better way to start a new log but with a huge PR. I went on a 10 mile, tri-city run today. I blasted out 9.8 miles in one hour. Did a warmup and cooldown mile and some stretching before and after. I felt great today. Tomorrow will be my first lifting session since coming back and ill hopefully post up a good Upper Body Workout tomorrow evening.Last edited by DTrulez616; 05-19-2009 at 03:37 PM.

I want to do the ultimate test. Im trying to train to run a marathon. I want to give myself a year to train to get there.
Great to see you back.
Awesome man, glad to have you back also.
I shouldnt if I eat enough calories and fat.
No, maybe I should start.
Idk, im doing something that would be worse for gains then track.
Glad to have you back along.Instagram: instagram.com/zackfeeney

Well, you can lower your Test by over-training/over-reaching.. Not quite sure the extent of it though.
I've heard many cyclists talk about how on their "over-reach" periods where the training is ABOUT to taper off.. their hair grows back a lot slower on their legs and their libido goes down.ENCLAVE

Upper Body Power
DB Press:
60lb x 8 x 6 x 6 x 6 + 1 Rep
-Drop-
35lb x 12
--Superset With--
T-Bar Row:
4 Sets of 2 Plates + 25lb x 8 PR + Reps
-Drop-
2 Plates x 12
Epic superset right here. Im getting more reps with some pretty decent weight so I may up the weight soon. 65s for a 5X5 would be epic.
Incline BB Press:
4 Sets of 105lb x 8
--Superset With--
Wide Grip Pullups:
3 Sets of BW x 6
-Drop-
1 Set of Assisted x 12
I just focused on getting good MMC here because the Chest and Back were already wrecked from the Bench and Tbar superset. The Pullups were done very slowly and hurt so good.
DB Military Press:
2 Sets of 35lb x 8
2 Sets of 40lb x 5
PR + 5lb
-60 Seconds Rest-
35's felt great so I decided to bump up to 40s and I was pleased to get a solid 5. Might try a 3 x 5 at 40 next week. These are progressing nicely, especially after all the pressing previously. I remember before I was pressing 55s at the beginning of a shoulder workout but doing it at the tail end of a workout is brutal.
CGBP:
85lb x 15 x 12
--Superset With--
BB Curls:
2 Sets of 45lb x 12
The pump was just amazing here. Light weight on both but the MMC was out of this world.
Finisher Complex:
100 Rope Turns
12 Spiderman Pushups
10 Renegade Rows @ 30lb - No Pushup
Repeat x 3
This workout was very intense and every muscle worked was just owned by the end of the workout. My chest and back are still hurting. Today was the first time I split up the pushups and rows while doing Renegade Rows. Last week I did the Rows with a Double Pushup and that was very taxing. I didnt want to push it on the finish today.
Did a run today also earlier right after school. It was 7 miles but it was nothing tough, just a recovery run after PRing yesterday.

Nice finisher complex, you been stalking Kirk?
When I read you weren't doing track I figured you wouldn't be running as much, but when is this marathon you're training for? What's your prep plan look like?ALLMAX Nutrition Rep

I dont know what im running yet but its not for another year or so. I wanna give myself ample time to condition myself. Im a hellava runner now but running a marathon is tough ****. Basically what ive been doing is 2 tough runs a week. One based on speed which was yesterday and then one based on endurance which is tomorrow. I between I do recovery runs like the one I did today. Basically 45-60 miles a week.
When I wanted to find a new split I was looking everywhere. I looked through your log and fell in love with your workouts. Seriously, you set up some of the funnest ****. Theyre tough, but I never thought I would have so much fun destroying myself.Instagram: instagram.com/zackfeeney
