***WALKING FOR BREAST CANCER**** Please help (serious)
A dear friend of mine (a_new_g) asked if I can make this thread for her, here is what she has to say:
i know that in the past there have been miscers who've had a cause they were passionate about and asked the great misc to help with donations. as much as you can guarantee to get lulz from the misc, i know that the misc has heart (yes corny). for the first time, i'm finally able to participate in a walk for breast cancer. i haven't been able to in the past due to military commitments, but finally i am able to sign up and know that for sure that i'll be there to walk.
i am walking for breast cancer. my grandma died from breast cancer and i'm walking for her.

avon's walk in san francisco is in july this year and i'm hoping to raise a lot for this walk being that the walk is 2 days. i'm going to try my best to walk as much of the 40 mile total that the 2 day walks add up to (first day is about 23 and the second day is 13 miles).
i'm hoping that i can get some donation from the misc. any and every little bit helps.
i can't offer much but thanks to you and any miscer that donates to this cause. i don't have much, but i can try and spread teh greenz to show it's appreciated.
