Loose Skin =(
So as of right now im 17, throughout my whole childhood i was basically that overweight kid..160 in 4th grade..190 in 6th, it got to a point where i couldnt bare being so fat and drastically lost weight going into my 7th grade..losing 30 pounds in 3months and then another 20 pounds in 6months...by my 8th grade year i had finally looked "normal" 145, 5'8 captain of the wrestling everything was swell. Entering highschool i started working out exsessively and got to 160...and now the end of my 10th grade year ive been a constant 162-165. I've been hitting very heavily on my body..track practice and immdiately going to the gym after, with only one goal in mine...get rid of this loose skin. After 2 years of trying to repair my loose skin..ive came to a realization...i honestly dont think its possible. The lower ab region of my body sags terribly, it looks like a tire is coming out of my lower stomach...At this point im not sure how to fix it...but i was considering trying to gain mass /weight and slowly go to my former weight but this time with muscle. For the past 2 years i have been eating very clean, im on a high protein /high fiber diet. Will gaining weight or losing weight be my best bet for my loose skin? All suggestions are apreciated thanks!

im not sure, but my guess is if its not to bad, then gaining muscle should strech the skin, making it look normal.
i've got some loose skin as well, and thats what im trying to do.
not sure if it will work though. good luck man.

Well, filling up the loose skin with some muscle wont hurt but your just going to have to wait and see if your skin bounces back. In the mean time you can try applying Vitamin-E and aloe lotions to your skin. Also make sure you get plenty of EFA's, water, and a few minutes of direct sunlight everyday. Best of luck Bro.

I was overweight my whole life until this past october, more than you. I was at 270 pounds never worked out a day in my life. Im now at 168 at 12-14% and have managed to pack on teh muscle =). I have some loose skin around my abs but not how you're describing it lol. I expect and have heard that mine will slowly tighten up over the next couple years. Sounds like youve got it worse and you havent even lost that much weight.

Just give it more time, i kinda have the same problem. you are still young and your GH levels are fair, which makes the skin more flexable. just give it time, and up some more muscle brah.

Bro, my story is the same as yours in almost every way. Stick with it and give it time. The skin should bounce back eventually, slowly but surely. I had that loose skin on my lower abs too, but with an ass load of ab workouts and cardio to drop more BF, within one year it isn't half as bad as it was. Have faith man! It'll get there eventually. One way to look at it is that the skin isn't like a plastic bag. A plastic bag once stretched will never gain it's original form back but the skin is alive and well, repairing itself if given the proper nutrients and time (plenty of the latter). Peace bro, and good luck.
