    deadlift form question

i have some question about my deadlift form, basicly everything is right according to the gym instructor ( hes a big guy and know alot about diet training so on so i respect him) but unlike the deadlift video i see when i deadlift my back is more at a 30 degree angle not like the 45 degree angle in the form videos but yet my back straight throught the lift. Any ideas why this is?

oh yeh it the first time i have done deadlifts.

A video of your deadlift would help a ton

Back angle is determined by anthropometry. So long as the bar is over the mid foot, against the shin, below the scapula, and your back is locked in extension you're good.

Until we see the video, I'd guess (guess I say) that it's simply a matter of weight: You're going heavy.

It could be foot placement though, or a need to train lower back/glutes.

Curious to see the video now.
