Not sure if this been asked, but not gonna go thru 5700+ posts lol but what ab exercises do you recommend/think work effectively? When you critiqued my split you though weighted cable crunches didn't do **** so im lookin for replacement(s).

Weighted decline crunches.
I only do those for my abs. That's all you need really.

what i do is lift the bar off the rack (like a squat) with the bar resting on my traps and push it up with my arms.

What about traps. I do shrugs (both dbell and bbell) and do upright rows (and whatever else hits it indirectly like deads or w/e) but they dont seem to grow.

BB shrugs- okay exercise, allows you to lift a heavier amount of weight.
DB shrugs- great exercise. Allows you to get full ROM on each side

Rear delt flies- great exercise
Face Pulls- Great exercise
reverse pec deck flys- Awesome exercise
