Just Booked my flight to Thailand ! ( any tips brahs )
Just booked my trip to Thailand, leaving December 26 and returning April, 05, 2010 .
Don't got no solid plan, yet. Except ,I plan on hitting up the Full moon NYE party on the Island down there. And Laos for at least 4 weeks. I might extend my trip to India / Middle east/ Africa ; If my budget is good and my body doesn't loose a ton of weight ( lost about 25 pounds in South America , while traveling  )

Well from my teacher's stories about going to Thailand, you should be really careful when it comes to drugs/cops. They can be really sketchy. He said that you should make sure you buy your own combination lock when it comes to your luggage.
From his experience:
He was at an airport and the cops told him he needed to buy a lock for his bags. The only place nearby that sold them was the shop in the airport. He found that all of the locks sold in the shop had the same combination. I guess they were trying to plant/frame him for having some drugs etc.

hit up Phi Phi, its a great island and has good diving. It'll take you 3 days for them to certify you in diving and it's only 60-80/ 2 dives after that.
