I love Em. The first time I heard him I think it was "My name is" and I was instantly hooked right in. I connected with him too because I looked like him.
I love Infinite and all of his early work. Slim Shady LP, Marshall Mathers are golden. The eminem show was alright too.
Favorite Song of all time: Don't know. There are so many I love

haha like i said my cuz gave me the slim lp and then I went to his house and stole his MM LP and didnt tell him but as they say karma is a bitch I went on vacation and some russian kids from my mom work heard it and ended up switching my MM LP for ****ing simple plan I wanted to kill someone on the 3 hour ride home (on a better note, the russian kids sister was hot and i got with her the next summer! )
Hrmm a thread for me... As far as my favorite songs
Till I collapse
No apologies
Run Rabbit Run
Still dont give a fcuk
The Way I am
Infinite
Hailies Song
Lose yourself
Say goodbye to hollywood
Biterphobia
His diss songs
****, a lot of stuff, I'm even tempted to add Deja Vu and Beautiful to that list
I can't really pick a favorite, they all have their own greatness in each.
This was back in 6th grade, then I stopped listening to rap for a little. Back in 10th grade I got back into rap and I listened to ALL of Em's albums...that's when I really started to appreciate it. Always been a favorite of mine.
Soldier is the only song I listen to when going for a new PR lifting.
As far as favorite songs go:
The Real Slim Shady
My Dad's Gone Crazy (the lyrics themselves AND the lyricism in this song amaze me every time)
Evil Freestyles
Soldier
Till I Collapse
The Way I Am
No Apologies

good list, say goodbye to hollywood is my end cardio song ****s amazing
I got hooked a bit later when I began listening. Probably after I bought Eminem show. When I first heard "my name is" on the radio I wans't a fan....but definitely came around.... began listening to all the albums before eminem show...
became convinced he was one of the best lyrical rappers after infinite...
sadly disappointed with a lot of his new stuff :-/ but still highly enjoy his older stuff and select new stuff
No hate on eminem here. Just for sure know that he isnt a top 5 all time rapper. Also his last couple albums have been pretty weak. Other than that eminem is pretty dope.
Started listening to his **** when it first came out, when I was in 8th grade. Been listening since. Til I Collapse is probably my favorite song.

run rabbit run is nuts
anyone else like go to sleep? em and dmx
go to sleep use to be one of my favorite songs, that **** hits hard... his diss songs get me pumped up for some reason, even "say what you say" with Dre
First off, I'm a huge Em fan. I think he's revolutionary and incredible, so every review I give of him is honest.
When I heard the album at first I thought it sucked ass. No lie. But... like his first few albums, once you keep listening to it you appreciate it more. I started seeing more and more relation to his MMLP and SSLP albums.
Now, I can't stop listening to this ****. Originally, I said this was no where near original Em, but now I have realized that this IS original Em.
Just like his first two/three albums. If you don't like it, fine, it's not your style, but this is real Em.

then who is top 5 all time?? So many people claim there is many greater but every list I have seen without em has been meidocre at best
and like many have said the new CD seems so wack after 1 run through give it a solid 2 listens and you will see the genius behind it, relapse is a very very strong CD
My list goes
Slim shady LP
Infinite
MM LP
Relapse
Eminem Show
Encore
but he has so many songs that are not on one of his CD that are just insane

Solid rankings brah. The only rappers alive that I think are ahead of him for sure are Nas and Rakim. Nas is the best of all time IMO and Rakim changed the game, but behind that and Biggie and Pac (can't leave them out) I have to say Em might be the best argument for #5.
Jay, Pun, Big L, and a few others have arguments as well, but after listening to his new album 3-4 times, I think he's on that elite level.
And also, the songs that are not on his albums... my favorite verses of Em are when he appears in a harcore ass song. Just like this... 1:30
That's just some sick ****.

MM LP is my favorite. I listened to it everyday the summer it came out driving to and from work. I think it is one of the top 10 albums across all genre's of all time. My order of his top 5 albums:
1. MM LP
2. SS LP
3. Infinite
4. Eminem Show
5. Encore
I haven't got a chance to listen to much of Relapse. I would rather he go back to his original style but I guess he ran out of material.
★ It was all a dream, I used to read Forbes Magazine, Gordon Gecko and Edward Lewis up in the limosine, hangin' history on my wall, every Friday sell off, bank, withdraw for the malls... ★
