ok, ive never acctually used a a weight gainer before, i usually just use regular protein powder. That being said, i got a jug of "quick gains" and am hoping that this huge increase in calories is really going to help me put on some major muscle mass. Does thsi stuff really work, and about what should my daily caloric intake be when im on an intense workout regiment???
Your weight gainer is an easy way to get extra calories into your diet when you can't seem to eat enough real food. You need to keep track of your calories every day and aim for +500 above maintenance. If you need the weight gainer to reach that goal, great. But be careful not to go overboard with caloric intake, as this will lead to fat gain.
