Question increaseing str of Push-ups+chin ups

Now i know that the best way to get better at doing push-up/chin-ups is but actually doing them..

but my question is what exercises are best suited to help amplify my progress in doing push-ups and chin-ups. Kind regards

db press, bench press, overhead press, tricep strength.
as for pullups..forearm/bicep strength as well as obviously back strength...so barbell and db rows
