Trying to gain muscle, i try to eat as much meat as i can but sometimes i just don't have any chicken left but i have loads of pasta. Is plain pasta a good food to eat if i'm trying to gain muscle mass and lose body fat?

pasta is one of the best source of lipids which can be seen as a faster working form of carbs, so basically they'll provide you with more energy the next day, but won't follow up for long term mass/energy gains like carbs do. that's why runner's and athletes sometimes have pasta parties the night before big sporting events because the lipids from the pasta will energize them the next day.
i don't know about any effects direct to muscle growth, but if you eat pasta the night before it definitely couldn't hurt a lifting routine the following day.Start/Now
