Only a handful of guys take it serious and a few will go on to play D1 the rest will probly play university ball in Canada if they have the grades. There is no money put into the sport, no stadiums or seating at some schools. Equipment is old I had a jersey once from 1993. Even with all this there are still some guys heading to great D1 schools. My friend is at Rice, another guy a Virginia, one a USC and more but I forget where they went.

I went to school with Nazar and played next to him for 3 years, I also played againts Urban before he got really good. The guy who went to USC is from BC Trey Henderson. I'm not sure about the guys who are going to EMU. Once my season was done this year I was mainly done with football.

Oooh cool. I believe the OG was Corey Watman and the DE was Bronly K, but im not too sure about the DE. Just wondering, but what year did Urban start getting really good?
And to give you an example of how bad it really is in canada, (at least in the city, rural areas are a different story) our junior team had 27 ppl on it lol. We ended up pretty decent, losing in the city semis by 5 points to the team that went on and won the city title.
Coaches don't get paid (we just get teachers that volunteer, and coaches from the community that volunteer), no one really cares about it, and the only audience are usually some of the students at the school and maybe some of the parents. There is little to no exposure to american universities. It's taken too lightly and not seriously at all.
The summer football leagues are a different story, but still not nearly close to the intensity of football in the states. Man how I wish I was born in the states lol.

From the highlight tapes I have seen from Canada HS, and colleges.... Not really. One of my HS games probably had more fans in one game, than a majority of high schools in Canada have all season.
