Welcome back Shane! I have been a fan of yours since i was like 15. Your physique is phenomenal and its nice of you to share the knowledge. love the vids
I think its funny how ONLY the guys are rating him, and calling him gay. If anything I think its gay that your rating him. And I highly doubt he cares what guys think about him, its like everyone who said something ignorant wants him to say something back to them... Grow up, if you dont like it then get off this thread. The lesson is in the struggle, not in the victory.

Damn I apologize for all the stupid comments Shane, not like I represent these forums but jokes or not some of the replies around here are so ridiculous it's tough to sit back and watch. Seriously "this is a bodybuilding forum"... and what is bodybuilding? A guy standing on stage in a speedo showing off the striations in his glutes.... basically, if Shane was in a MORE revealing speedo BUT doing a lat spread instead of leaning against something in an artistic pose, the guys here would be eating it up and praising him. You really do see a lot more skin than this during one of Ronnie Coleman's posing routines.
Anyway, good to have you back and looking forward to the video series, I have to agree I'm sick of typical training videos so anything different is good in my book. If you guys don't know this guy you need to go back and check his teen videos, I remember being here around 2001 or 2002 I think (different name) and he was a pretty big deal among a lot of the teens, that was back when Derek Charlebois was freakin huge too. The BB.com glory days.Last edited by BigLifter85; 05-15-2009 at 06:20 PM.

LoL do you realize what kind of forum you're on? BODYBUILDING you idiot! Ya know, that sport where guy's get oiled up in speedo's and flex on stage......
Big deal he's in his underwear. The whole point of the picture is to show off his great physique.
Most of you are just jealous, insecure, pathetic losers that need to get off this forum if you think bodybuilding is "gay".IFPA Natural Pro bodybuilder

Almost every man on here, is shirtless. It is rather unambiguous that this is a BB site, but thanks for clearing that up. However, there must be reason other than envy and resentment, that this particular gentleman has received negative comments, when so many other shirtless posters do not.
Edit: By the way, I give the OP all the credit in the world. He has a great physique, and I'm sure he and everyone knows that.

Bodybuilding and modeling (which really go hand in hand) are not about sitting there getting "pleasure" and jacking off to the pictures, it's about critiquing a physique like you would a work of art.
My God, I could just picture some of the people on these forums going to see the statue of David and all pointing and giggling like 8 year old boys b/c he's nude.
It's really no wonder bodybuilding.com is the laughing stock among most of the more serious bodybuilding communities. There are way too many inexperienced people here at BB.com, some on the misc. that openly admit don't even workout, it created a pretty crappy environment.

I was actually responding to the accusation of being a homophobe. I don't mind seeing a man in shorts flex his muscles. But I don't derive pleasure from men in underwear where their junk is showing.
I'm not discouraging the OP either. He's obviously jacked, and that was accomplished through a lot of hard work.
Also, not everyone on these forums is into getting on a stage and strutting around in a speedo. Not all of us are exhibitionists.
Take a chill pill, and read my original post again.

I really can't understand wanting to look like that? It makes you look stubby. Your forearms contrasted to your fingers is like a caricature. The proportions of your body are completely warped. To achieve physical perfection is not to overdevelop your muscles, it is to develop your body to perfect scale for your frame. You are too wide, too bulky, and too stubby. It looks silly.

wats the world coming to when nobody wants to work hard and use their talents instead we have guys training hard not to enter the bodybuilder arena but to prostitute themselves for materialism
if it carries on where will it end, where are your morals
there is a difference between modelling to sell something and to illustrate something but if you arent doing that what are you doing
i still want to look at myself in the face and know i worked hard for my money which i can and have
just my opinionLast edited by bizzlewood; 05-30-2009 at 02:03 PM.

Sorry Bizz but that is some BS right there man...
Shane does compete, you dont think he just trains for gay modelling do you? And its not "prostituting yourself for materialism" Everyone needs money, and bodybuilding as an amateur pretty much pays nothing, so Shane is going through the intelligent route, fitness modelling.
"i still want to look at myself in the face and know i worked hard for my money which i can and have" - Shane still works incredibly hard, he bodybuilds, models and has a girlfriend to look after, not to mention his living costs and car etc.... im pretty sure he works hard for what he gets....
Shane actually hasnt told us he does gay modelling, someone above just suggested that ^, so hes not w.h.o.r.e.i.n.g himself out to the gay community, hes just fitness modelling, which thousands of men do across the globe, because it PAYS better than amateur bodybuilding does..

So every guy who poses in pants has to be modelling for gays? lol... that photo probably wasnt even published, so its just something to add to his portfolio, to show diversity in his photographs... so IF an agency wanted him to do gay modelling, he probably could, but we dont know, he might reject the idea....
He may have a job, we dont know, but he certainly has alot of contacts in the fitness & bodybuilding industry, he used to train with and is still good friends with the Feldman brothers, and he is still tight with bb.com, making multiple videos etc.... so it makes it a wise choice to pursue that area of work...
