What is the weight of a typical Olympic-style EZ-curl bar — by itself, when it is not loaded? (I'm talking about the bars that are about four feet long, require weight plates to be added, and have curves for more comfortable handling during, say, barbell curl exercises.)

You do realize that you replied to an 8+ year old thread?
The topic of this thread is addressed in the FAQ:
Q: "How much does my bar weigh?"
A: They make these things called scales... failing that most "good" bars are going to weigh between 41 and 44 pounds. Competition bars are always going to weigh 44 pounds. The bar you got in that weight set from sears or you local sporting goods store most likely only weighs about 30-40 pounds. EZ Curl cambered bars weigh between 15-25lbs, the better ones are closest to 25.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #35

You can take half of the weight and multiply it by 2 to get the entire weight.
