Track athletes? Who compete(s)(d)
Just curious, who here competed in track any point in their lives? What events? I ran the high hurdles, 400 relay, and 300 hurdles (against my will lol) in high school, and highs in college. Anybody else?

I ran for El Camino Jr. College and UC Irvine (I tried to transfer to LSU, but I guess I was too slow).
I ran the 100, 200 and 4x4

That's pretty good for your age. You should keep lifting and doing sprint workouts, I coach PV now but I only did it for 1.5 years in HS. I was a junior when I started and went 11'6 that year, 14'3'' official, 15' bar in practice my senior year. Weighed about 145 my junior year, bumped up to 165 my senior year and was crushing poles. Felt good man.

Yea I wanted to do lifting/high bar/pole runs during the season but we ended up having around 25 people on the team doing pole vault so to get in enough vaults I had to vault every school day. Starting to crush the 13' 130 I have(stats not updated im around 130 right now) so i may move up to a 140 this week. Right now i need to work on getting my knees into my chest so i can get my hips up and my shoulders back. What height did you need to qualify for state where you live?

Ran the 100 (200 and 400 against my will) and some relays.
Times weren't all that great.
