So the other day i pulled up 11 reps of 275lbs deadlifts. but on the 11th rep i felt a blunt pain in the side of my neck. it went away rather quickly, so i continued the rest of my exercises.
well today i was working my delts and traps when all of the sudden it came back. i have read about this muscle and the symptoms of a strain, it feels like a bad headache (in my case only when im using it).
I have tried some stretching techniques while using hot compresses, and i will continue to do so for the next few days.
i will stay off of it and try to focus on biceps, triceps, legs and abs until it heals.
are there any advanced healing techniques any of you might know of???

I sort of had the similar thing. My physical therapist have me doing some stretches, using heating pad around my neck. Since it's farily new injury for you, I'd suggest use ice. You probably will need to rest it up a little bit. Don't aggrevate by working out, Id stay off the gym for a week or so to let it heal.
