My daughter is 11mo old so obviously i have some time .. just bugging me.

What age will she become sexually aware?

When will she start making moves with boys?

Im asking because lately i see a lot of girls who look to be like 14 or 15, they seem to be way more active than they should be! I saw this one couple who couldnt have been more than 15 .. they couldnt keep their hands off each other! touching, kissing, grinding ... like passionate kisses. like there is no way these 2 arent in a room an hour from now, kind of kissing lol

Theres no way the majority of girls are active at this age, is there?? How do i prepare for this? Is there any way to stop it?

What if i raise her to respect her body, but she doesnt? How will i even know??

God forbid she comes right out and says "dad i just gave him a bj, its no big deal all the girls do it" WTF do i do???? i cant hit her obviously ... therapy? move towns? anything at all?

Right now it's probably about 13-14 years, but who knows what happens in another 13 years man, kids might start having sex at 10, it's anyone's guess

You hear about kids that are sexually active at age 12-13 now.

But I wouldn't even worry about that right now.

Thats many many years from now, and I am sure you will think about things differently when the time comes.

I think the best thing is to teach her to be self-confident, self-assured, and use common sense. I hate to say this, but too many girls become too impressionable at an early age and they start doing crazy stuff on account of what the more popular kids are doing. If I could use an example, I'd recommend something along the lines of telling her that she should sleep with nobody until they've earned the right to do so, and that the person can be trusted. The truth is, it will happen someday, as much as father's don't want to think about their little princesses doing such things. Too many dads repeat the "boys are scum" line, which really teaches them nothing, particularly when they do start becoming attracted to the opposite sex. (white knights abound, and they'll think white knights couldn't possibly be scum).

Perhaps ask your wife this? Ask her what she would have wanted to know at your daughter's age?



edit: also set a good example. they look up to thier father's for this guidance. she'll look at the way you act and seek someone that kinda resembles this (subconsciously).

don't be too strict with her.. otherwise she'll rebel and do whatever she can to defy you. be open about sex.. it's the same thing with drugs and alcohol, don't act like they don't exist, because she'll become exposed to them at one point anyway and then she'll be even more curious.. just teach her the smart ways to go about things and make sure she understands the consequences of them. this way, she'll also trust you more and have a harder time going behind your back.

I would suggest scaring the living **** out of any boyfriend she brings home in the future and work from there. Listen to the serious advice that's been given so far combined with that and at least she will have some class and not slut it. If you get too controlling though it will be the exact opposite, so don't go overboard.
