Football Training Help
Well, here's the deal. I'm 16, a sophomore, started on varsity this year as MLB and I went back and fourth with a senior for DE. Right now I'm 6'2 197, my usual playing weight is around 220. My max bench during training was 240 and squat was 300, now I am currently playing lacrosse which doesn't help my bulking or anything. I really just want to bulk, then cut and get toned. I want to get my bench up higher along with my squat and everything else. I see all these kids from my school going to play football in college and that is all I have ever wanted to do. I have taken many supplements, including Anator P70, N.O. XPLODE, Cell Tech Hardcore, Nitro Tech Hardcore, and other random Creatine, Leukic, and Glutamine pills. Hoping you guys have some information for me, sorry about this long post.

As you can see, most of the kids are smaller than my fat ass.

First tackle of the game against cross town my school's cross town rivals.

Do you guys have any tips on what to eat or focus on doing? I want to train everything. I'm not sure what exercises work what the best, if anyone has any work-out routines or supplement advice I would LOVE to hear it.

dont worry about supplements! eat a solid diet!
if you want supplements then get whey protien, creatine, and a multi vitamin and thats all you need! everything else would just be a waste of money!

Check out WSBIII, it's for bulking. Find a calorie calculator and start trying to eat 500-800 over your maintence. Need lots of veggies/fruit and eat 1 gram of protein per your goal weight(aka if you want to bulk to 235 lbs, eat 235 grams of protein a day). I wouldn't quit lacrosse as it can only help your athleticism to play something like that in the offseason, you just have to eat more calories to outweight what you're burning from it.

"I have taken many supplements, including Anator P70, N.O. XPLODE, Cell Tech Hardcore, Nitro Tech Hardcore, and other random Creatine, Leukic, and Glutamine pills."
First: Stop taking supplements at age 16...
The only supplements you should use are Whey protein and straight creatine monohydrate...none of that Cell Tech stuff. Also if you plan on getting any gains, don't buy muscletech...
Second: Eat properly...Chicken, Beef, Brown Rice, Eggs, Vegetables, Sweet Potatoes, Broccoli, WHOLE GRAIN (not wheat, whole grain) products...
Third: Do Rippetoes properly (go on youtube and watch how to do the exercises on rippetoe's videos)...
1. Squat
2. Power Clean
3. Military press
4. Bench Press
5. Deadlift
Fourth: Run.
I really don't know why you put a bunch of pictures up of yourself playing either...you definitely don't look 220lbs in those pictures as your playing weight...

99% of the time people who are athletic and in good shape but cannot put on weight, cannot do so because they really have no clue how much food they really need to it to get bigger.
You seem to be a very active guy who probably has a ridiculously fast metabolism so you are going to need to eat at least 3 times as much as you do now to gain weight.
Never go 2 hours without a meal ever, except when you sleep.
When you finish practice, lifting or even when you have a 90 minute class get your a$$ to a meal as soon as humanly possible. Even waiting until after you shower in the locker room is waiting too long. Bring your protein shake with some oats in it and some sandwiches and eat them before you go soap up.
Drink calories too, like milk and fresh juice. If your going to the mall with your girlfriend for a few hours, don't go buy a burger or shake, bring turkey sandwiches you made from home to eat half way through. You don't have to do that one but this is the sort of dedication you need.
The pics you put up are pretty cool, not sure why you put em up either but they are good action shots.
Oh and do yourself a favor and never buy a muscletech product again!

I'd say if you want to play college quit lacrosse focus on football... and worry more about speed then bulk right now if your weight is around 220. College coaches look for kids who have speed. If you can keep gaining speed with weight thats ideal situtation.

ya speed is a major for DE...speed and strength is what you need
stretch alot for more flexibility because that will help with speed...for strength keep a steady workout and after your last set see how much you can max...so if you did 3 x3 bench see if you could go past 4 reps on you last if you can go up in weight
