Knee Injury

A few days ago i dislocated my knee at Muay Thai. It was a pretty brutal sight. I ended up getting a hard cast on my left leg were the injury occured, so i obviously can't bend my leg. I'm going to have this cast on untill May 21st.

I still want to go to the gym and work my upper body, but i don't know if this is a responsible choice. I have some weights downstairs, but just pretty basic ****. A small bench, a Curl bar, and a Cable machine.

Does anyone here have any experiences workout out while injured? Any advice? Should i just stick to my basic basement setup untill i get my cast off? This is my first bad injury so i'm new to this situation.
