I knew you had to be in the red before I opened this.
As for the topic, I don't really know enough about him. Aren't most supreme court judges DEEP in the legal field? Like a little more than Gore?
What was the debate about?

Gore is the father of the Global Warming scare and does not bode well with me.
I will not go further into this.
(Yes, mad.)

Al Gore does not have a law degree, ergo, he cannot serve.
And he did not flunk out of Vanderbilt, he left to run for the House Rep seat that came open.

Oh yes? You might want to go check out his academic record while in Vanderbilt Divinity School. It was NOT stellar. His father was a long time politician from here with enormous power. Al Gore is a Huge case of nepotism and undeserved position. He is NOT popular in his home state and hasnt been for a long long time. He actually LOST the election in this state to Bush in 2000...

I just went and that. In his three semesters at law school, his lowest mark was a 69 and his highest a 81. No, not stellar. But, that probably puts him above average at one of the top law schools in the country (I'd have to know the rest of his grades and how the Vanderbilt curve works). He did not flunk out, he left to run for office. For whatever reason you either were mistaken or made it up.
Is he a genius? Not by any measure. Is he exceptionally smart? Based on his grades in law school and his IQ of 134, I'd say yes.
I actually laughed out loud that you mention the pinnacle of nepotism, George W. Bush.

The guy's basically a trained chimp. He doesn't have a law degree, and has no qualifications to sit on the SCOTUS. Why in the world would that even come up in a class?

So he was a C student at Vanderbilt Law School, with at least 1 D on his record? And he never finished his law degree and isnt licensed to even practice law. That is what you are looking for in a Supreme Court Justice? Seriously, its not even a consideration, particularly for a guy with no judicial experience. I am pretty sure the D average he had was at Vanderbilt Divinity School. He didnt get a degree from Divinity School or Law School by the way, choosing to quit both. No matter, the guy was very very average, AT BEST. And the VERY reason I brought up nepotism is that people constantly harp on Bush's career being as the result of nepotism, which no one deny. But you NEVER hear the left or the media say a word about the nepotism that is the Gore success. Why is nepotism bad in the Bush case, and not an issue in the Gore case?

There is nothing to verify that he was a C student at Vanderbilt. The only source I could find indicated that he got some Cs.
Should Gore be on the Supreme Court? No. He's not qualified. Is he stupid? No. His IQ is 134 and his worst grade at one of the best law school in the US was a 69.
A law degree isn't required explicitly by the Constitution, but is a de facto requirement.

He really scared me with 11th Hour, i looked up global warming and saw astronomers saying the sun had cooled down "Its an act of God, its a celestial helping hand we must now do the rest!" I think Global Warming is real and a lot of the hurricane disasters are involved in it, there were too many to be called a fluke or bad luck.
I saw you should let him in - give him a chance you got nothing to loose.
