    Sudden lower back pain after changing squat form

    I have had butt wink issues with squatting. Last workout I really focused on shoving my knees out, arching my back a bit more, and keeping my core tight. After those squats and the now 2 days later my lower back is killing me.

    In the past, when I was letting my back round at the bottom, my lower back never bothered me at all, what gives?

    I know this is an old post, but I'm having the same thing going on. I noticed some lower back rounding while back squatting, did exactly what you did, and now I have lower back pain. It's been about 3 weeks and it's still there.

    How did this play out for you?
