Anyone submit an e-resume via Microsoft Word?

I'm applying for an overseas job.

I'd like everything to look like it's on one page.

I hit ctrl shift 8 to bring up paragraph markers and deleted the last one.

As a result, print preview showed only one page, but the actual document to send showed more extra white (an extra page worth).

Anyone know how to correct this?

didn't read thread, but use PDF format, it looks more professional
