I usually weigh myself every morning, though I don't care what the scale says. More so curiosity. On nights I lift and after eating, I usually weigh myself at the end of the night.
I just got done eating dinner and from this morning to now I gained 9.5lbs. The largest difference was a few days ago and that was 5lbs after chugging a liter of water before bed.
Now that i think about it I was running too late today to have breakfast and ate more from 12-8 than in the morning.

"Everyone thinks they're on their way to single digit body fat as soon as they see a blurry four-pack in the right lighting.Your final body weight at 5-6% will be a lot less than what you think.Talk to me again when you get in contest shape." I'd be willing to say that 95% of people on this forum accomplish nothing in years, don't be one of those people. It's sad, they seem to have the knowledge many don't but can't utilize it.

Do you really? I know you say you just walk away... but it's some concern that you weigh yourself that much. If it doesn't matter, then why do you do it so often when you KNOW of the fluctuations? The reason I say this is I used to do the same, obsessed with the turnout and it'd really effect me if it wasn't lower then the last time, which was pretty often.
My suggestion: weigh yourself once a week. Once every 2 weeks if you can bare. You'll be much happier when you see a 2 lb drop and not a .2 lb drop. I personally am not weighing myself for a month in order to truly assess if my diet is working, I know I'll want to switch if I don't see results after a week or two.

Well, it depends on what you're trying to do with the scale. If you're just tracking progress for the sake of WEIGHT loss then any scale will do. I wouldn't sign up for a fight and then use a crappy scale to see if I'm close to my weigh-in goal haha. That's when I would go with your medical grade scale recommendation. Anyhow, I weigh myself on a daily basis but I keep water intake and everything consistent so it shows pretty steady decreases through the week
