Is there any reason to be concerned with cholesterol levels in protein powder?

I was looking at the nutrition labels of several protein powders that I am interested in, and noticed some of them had some fairly high cholesterol levels (BSN's Syntha-6 had 55mg, or 20% rda, in a single scoop, for example).

Is that a huge concern to anyone? My cholesterol levels could be lower (last month's physical showed my reading to be 190), but the rest of my diet is fairly cholesterol free. I've been researching some of the nearly-cholesterol-free powders on the market as well -- is it worth it to find one that is basically cholesterol free?

No, dietary cholesterol has little/no correlation to blood lipid levels.

Well that depends on the production method used since cholesterol oxidation products / oxycholesterol have the potential to form particularly from heat treatment and they are not particularly healthy. I'd avoid low price, lower quality protein because who the **** knows what you'll be getting vs something that is low temp processed
