Just ran a Half Marathon
I just ran a Half Marathon in Long Branch, NJ and man are my legs sore, especially my calves. Its my second time doing this as I ran it last year too. Yeah theres alot of pain now which will last for the next few days, but it comes along with a great feeling of accomplishment. Im gonna go rest now bc I need it.

Congrats Dave Man. I done 2 half marathons and almost vomited at the end of the last one as I was pushing it. Beat my old time by 16 mins. I dont think I'll do any more unless it's just to build up to the London Marathon. I don't see any real benefit apart from the fact that I can run further

Half Marathon. I got tons of respect for those who can do the full thing, but I sure cant.
Thanks for all the comments. I probably could have done better but I did not do that much training at all. Plus it was raining throughout the whole thing which had its advantages and disadvantages

I do 12-14 miles 5 times a week on a recently changed routine. One day I tried to go the extra mile, and I had nothing. I have no idea how those people run marathons either.

Im not exactly sure what my final time was, but I can check that later when its posted online. I prepared by running 3 short runs during the week and a long run on Sunday. I tried to stick to that, but I did get lazy abit while training and cut some out. I also tried not to do too much so I wouldnt get injured bc I did last year and wanted to avoid that
