Did something to my knee: posterior fibular head pain. Ideas?

I don't know exactly what caused it but it could've been from running around in the woods or tripping over stuff but now its messed up. Overall it feels pretty tight and it hurts to press toward the back of the fibular head. It has improved slightly but it still isn't right and I definitely wouldn't attempt squats. Sometimes just walking around feels OK while other times it aches. I had a meniscectomy done on this knee a year or two ago and hope I didn't wreck what's left of the meniscus.

What do you think this could be?

It may be a sprain of the fibular head.

It may be related to the connective tissue on the lateral knee.

Meniscal pain can be felt laterally and arond that area.

Difficult to tell form the little bit of information you have given.
