Lower Back
Hey guys,
i've been blessed with an extremely assymetrical frame lol.
my chest was way off, buts its come up quite nicely, now the next thing i need to work on is the left side of my lower back. Is this even possible?(the right sticks out a good 3/4" than the left, so it is noticeable, for me)
p.s. Because of my assymmetry i have focused on form over weight for a long time. All of my lifts are ..well, theyre next to perfect in regards to form. It just seems like no matter what i do, the right side takes over because of its strength compared to the other side)

you're sure you're not coming up sideways on lifts? in any case, try it. grab a dumbbell, like 100lbs if you can or more, and do a romanian deadlift with it, but tilt to the left when you come up.
maybe your back is just crooked. do you have any back pain or discomfort? do you have scoliosis?

On the deadlift, pay attention to if your hips are swaying one way or another.
On squats, make sure one leg isn't pushing too hard and tilting more weight onto one side of your back.

I have the same problem except its my lower left back thats more developed. Ive come to some possible answers. I reverse grip with my left hand in underhand grip. When I tried doing a double overhand a lot more stress was placed on my right lower back so maybe try going to double overhand. Grip is the reason I couldn't do double overhand before so I ordered straps. Yeah you wont train your grip this way but i do plenty of other exercises that help it (farmers walks, heavy lunges, etc). I also didn't know that i had slight scoliosis for years until a physical told me so, so that may be a factor with you.
Also check your leg strengths, I know my right leg is much stronger from being my kicking leg in soccer + my left knee has tendinitis so i walk with a slight limp to keep weight off it. These sort of imbalances could be affecting you from the ground up. Best of luck
