Help me make some real progress.
The only program i've ever done is rippetoes and i want something new. I want size.. I'm thinking of doing a split and not sure where to start. My understanding is a split would be the best way for me to gain serious mass. And my strength would go up as well? Help me understand/ get a program going. I'll rep the **** out of you.

If you train for mass, you will still gain strength and if you train for strength, you will still gain mass. However, obviously, depending on what you focus on the ratio of mass:strength gains will vary. You are only 16 and 151lbs, you want to build a good foundation. Considering that you have already done starting strength, you probably have form down on the squat, bench, deadlift, and press so I suggest getting on a 5x5 routine. You will see gains in strength and size as long as your diet is in order.

Try 5x5.
It's a good routine, I was/am in the same situation. I can't squat heavy three times a week, but 5x5 has you squatting at slightly less intensity and making less speedy progress. At the same time, it becomes hard to hit your weights consistently on Rippetoes, and 5x5 is better once you get past the point you can keep making easy gains.

This. 5x5 will be perfect for you coming off a starting strength program.

You need solid strength base before you start any type of workout where you wanna gain mass.
By good strength; I mean like 1.5x bodyweight on Bench Press and 2.5x bodyweight on Squat and Deadlift. Seems a bit difficult but not that much if your dedicated and have a decent diet.
Remember that putting on Mass is easier if you can do 3 sets of 10 with say 250 pounds then doing the same but with 200 pounds.
Thats why I believe having a really solid strength base is essential before a bulk.

You can dead more than that. Trust me. I started at repping 185 now I'm doing 235 for 5 reps and might try going higher. Keep trying to push your weight higher, but don't expect gains every week.

Just eat.
If you hit 165 you'll be squatting 225 and deading more.
