I use aspartame and sucralose like you wouldn't believe.
My favourite is actually cocoa + aspartame and/or sucralose. It's a chocolatey delight. And 5g of cocoa is 20 cals, and I never use more than like 2g. Sometimes i just put coffee and aspartame in a cold 1L bottle of water and it's an iced-coffee delight!

As you can tell by my title, diet soda keeps me sane when dieting. My favorite is definitely Diet A&W or Barqs Root Beer. I realize that there are issues with the sweetners and your teeth, but f**k it - I would go insane if there were no diet soda.
Also, I add packets of Splenda to my oatmeal or eat some high fiber maple-brown sugar oatmeal.

x2 Sugar-free Red Bull keeps me sane, it deffently gives me a energy hit.
Plus Red Bull also stimulates the metabolisim, and contains TAURINE which expands your cells by helping the muscle cell itself hold more water, increasing cell volume. Taurine is a amino acid.

I used to crave sugar but not really these days.
Changes I have made:
Coffee is now black, I used to have milk and two sugars
Cinnamon is as far as I go now with my oats
I've stopped adding sugar/honey to my plain yoghurt and it actually tastes better.
No sweets, no sugary drinks, no fruit juice, etc
The only time I have a sweet tasting session is on a cheat meal at someone's house, that could be one small portion of apple crumble for example.
Otherwise I don't miss sugar at all and I'm finding things actually have their own taste, and it's good. It was hard at first but I've learned to appreciate how things really taste.

I don't worry about sugar when bulking or maintaining, but while cutting I use an ancient tool called 'self-control'

If I get a sugar craving I do the following:
Wait about 20 minutes and during that time do something else.
If I still have the craving
I satisfy it and eat within moderation.

Ugh, all those chemical sweeteners taste so disgusting. How 'bout trying something more natural like Stevia?

I buy my protein in bulk (25-50lb) and get some pretty amazing flavor packs with it. This time, i bought dutch fudge chocolate. 1/4 teaspoon is enough to give flavor to one scoop (unflavored) and it tastes pretty amazingly good. Sweeted with sucralose, too.
Pretty good when I'm carving something sweet.

I don't really have much sugar in my house? When there's a "sugar type holiday" like Easter, VDay, etc and my fiancee gets me chocolate, it's gone in minutes.
If I kept chocolate around I would be +30 lbs....so, I just don't have access to it
