    HIIT on Rowmachine

    I was planning on doing HIIT on row machine and wouldn't know if this is acceptable
    I would do it post workout 30 sec 100% 1 min 50% repeat for 10 minutes all on row machine

    Mon chest/bi 10min HIIT
    Tue low intesity row (30 min)
    Wed leg/shoulder
    Thur low intesity row (30 min)
    Fri back/tri 10 min HIIT
    sat low intesity row (30 min)

    It is on an erg machine Is that overkill or does it work

    I haven't tried it on the row machine, but if you warm up for 3-5 minutes, then do the 100%-50%-100%-50% swapping for 13-15minutes, then cool down for another ~3 minutes, you should get the same effect...
    Don't forget to switch up your methods of cardio though.

    Thanks I just wanted to know if because rowing uses your back and bi's would that be to much work on those muscles?

    Oh, and no. Proper rowing is predominantly legs. You're back should only be pulling at the very end of the stroke. All the rest is hip and leg strength, much like the first part of a dead lift.
