Doing A Keto Diet, not trying one
Whats Up everyone? I'm just going to use this little journal as a place to keep track ofmy diet while doing keto.
Some stats 5'9'' 179.4lbs 23.6% BF Today was first day on keto
Goals increase strength while losing bf, plain and simple
Today diet was close to almost right here are my totals as of right now
1744/109g fat/189 p/ 30g carbs
tomorrow i will need to take in about 60 more g of fat and 3-500 more cals
im feeling really tired and having a slight headache.
right now im having some tea with a scoop of benefiber
going to go to sleep in a lil bit, will be back tomorrow.

So far today its been the same as yesterdays diet except im usine broccoli as cabs instead of bread. It's hard to say how many carbs are in what im eatting because the stalk it all carbs no fiber but the heads have only 2 net cabs and the rest is fiber. I'm just going to average it out at saying 3 carbs.
PWO I had my shake a piece of Ezekial 4:9 bread, from what ive heard those carbs do not count correct?
I'm going to put my order of Dextorse in today to start taking PWO instead.
Workout was pretty good today, did all upper body, tomorrow will be abs again unless my knee starts feeling better.
Will be back later today to enter in final numbers, shooting for more fat!

Yesterday went pretty well i thought ended up with 2304/150/210/17.5
Cals were a little high
fat was a tad low
protein was really high
carbs were fairly low
How does it look?

knock protein down somehow and you should be good. mine was around 228 before, my fats dropped with the protein, due to me dropping 2 tablespoons of peanut butter off my diet and 1 scoop of whey in my shake before it was 1.5 scoops.
I am only intaking 144g fats roughly 57%
Cals Fat Cholest Sodium Carbs Sugars Fiber Protein
2,286 144g 1,615mg 1,453mg 47g 8g 24g 193g
Macros: %57,%34,%8
Net carbs = (Total 47g - Fiber 24g) = 23g
My protein is about 1.25x bodyweight, but I am not taking it lower, my diet is on lock down

this is the first "diet" i have ever tried doing, and so far i love it, 5 complete keto days, no real temptations to cheat. the hard part is going to be the fist two weekends withou the carb up, during the week its a little bit easier because i can nly eat the food that i bring.
still no signs of ketosis from the strips but from what ive heard i could still be in ketosis. my carbs have been around 20-30 everyday and ive gotten better at getting more fat in.

After the first week im down about 6-7 pounds. But the sunday before i started i did kind of "pig out"
So far really no side effects, my diet has bee going really good, and i have not cheated once. Today my pants feel really loose and fall down a after a while which is nice. Anyways im feeling really good about this. I can't wait until my first carb up. But it's not until the 16th so i have a while. I just bought some dextorse so i will start taking that tomorrow pwo. and my scale comes in today for food!
