Reccomended protein bar?
With school days, its hard to get certain foods into my system the entire day...
anyways from lunch to track practice to weight lifting, i dont have any foods in my system for about 5-6 hours. Long story short, i wanna eat a protein bar in between track and lifting.
Anyone have a favorite protein bar theyd reccomend? The taste doesn't really bother me....i just want something with high protein and doesnt cotain to much sugar content.
thanks all

well if you're not worried about sugar alcohols, I'd highly reccomend Pure Protein bars... chocolate delux is my personal favorite (180 calories, 4.5 grams fat, 17 grams carbs, 20 grams protein), but all the flavors I've tried are good.
some other bars with higher protein counts would be:
-southbeach meal replacement bars (laugh if you will, but they have 19 grams protein per bar and only 210 calories)
- detour bars
- met-rx collassal protein bars
I'm sure that you'll get alot more responses with more suggestions. but I really don't know much abotu other brands, since I've always leaned toward Pure Protein bars. they taste amazing.

Met-RX bars are DELICIOUS. Best protein bar I've ever tried (most taste like powdery ****)
Check out the peanut butter pretzel flavor^

x2 on the met-rx bars. They have them at my gym, so expensive but they taste lovely. I'd reccomend just taking a sandwich or something though, a lot cheaper and probably a bit more filling.
