I did a routine similar to this and I had awesome results. Don't let anyone tell you you're overtraining...the only person that knows is you. Eat right and get the right amount of rest (2 full days off is perfect). I like that you give yourself 2 full days off between body parts.

Agree with posts above. Without knowing how much volume is in each work out, I think you could definitely do this routine without overtraining. That said, if you start feeling sluggish/moody between workouts, I would re-evaluate your routine.

I have gone through a few phases of overtaining, where I refuse to admit that lifting has negatively impacted my mood. Eventually, after taking a week off, I feel rejuvenated.

well im a firefighter so my job is strenuous and sometimes im working all through the night.....so i blame my occasional moodiness on that lol....im usually doing about 12-14 sets per workout for larger muscles....and 9-11 for smaller groups...i just hate when some people get in the mindset of working out has to be this cookie cutter plan that we find in a magazine or on some website.....i like to think outside the box with my workout plans....and i do the same for the clients i train....

I personally only like to train each body part one day a week, but as long as you rest around 2-3 days i believe it's alright to work out that body part again.
