personally, i think that deadlifts only lead to back problems but if you are going to do them, you don't want to go heavy for the whole ruining your back...most gyms have about 5 or 6 back machines...atleast mine does..and it is a hole in the wall

...machines are much safer and allow you to train for more definition.
