hiit exclusively or hiit plus li cardio?
i know hiit has proven many times to be more beneficial than low intensity cardio, ive also found from myself that doing long duriation cardio doesn get me as lean as when ive added in hiit sessions. however ive always done a combo of both. depending on my training split its usually 2x a week of each sometimes a 3rd.
currently my training split is weight training 3 days on 1 off repeat. i do hiit on day 2 and on the 4th day or day off its a jog for 40 minutes. so cardio is every other day.
i was thinking of dropping the jog and just going for hiit every other day?
so my real question here is should i still keep in the long jog for the higher calorie burning or just go all hiit?
reason im asking is because diet is already pretty low in calories and wanna adjust cardio a bit more first
