Godan Art & Lutherie. I play this one and it sounds like an $800+ model
http://www.artandlutherieguitars.com...iqueburst.html
grabbed it for like $400 in Canada which is cheap as hell
have had it for about 6 years without issue, just keep it humidified if you live in a fluctuating climate

Have thought about getting new single coils for my strat, looking into getting low output pickups, seems to fit my playing style best..
But first I have to get an amp, pay day is getting closer, so I'm just a few months (lol) away from having enough to spend on a new amp, will probably get a tube amp, can't waitNo hate on the mod

very nice, I wanted one of their trans finish 7's, but they are all 12" radius, the RX is 14" which feels much better. It's actually supposed to be 16, but the shop used an actual radius guide to determine it was only 14.
BTW, Lightspeed sound still has a couple of 7 string RX's at $399.00 http://lightspeedmusicstore.com/Electric-Guitars/RX7lift big 2 get big

Last amp I can afford on the way
Peavey 3120 - essentially an EL34 version of the TripleXXX, it's a badass
I will probably swap the EL34's for the 6L6 Ruby's I have and the 12AX7's for the EC0803 long plate preamp tubes
Not like it needs more gain, but just for giggles and because I have the EC0803's

Was just out of town, went to this music store that has tons of old guitars, played a fender strat from '65, all original parts, three way switch (which I would change to 5-way if I could afford to buy it)
Thick C-shape neck, which is great for my big ass hands lol, really comfortable to wrap your hands around (no homo?), rosewood fretboard, three color sunburst nitrocellulose laquer, tremolo was balanced and didn't give too much when bending etc..
In short, I have found my dream guitar, too bad it costs 20 000 dollars. No hate on the mod

Worked on this arm relief last year for over an hour with a block, getting only about 1/4" down. Got on it with a borrowed belt sander this weekend, still took me another 20 minutes to get it done.

Does anyone have any good recommendations on a pair of wireless headphones, mainly for guitar, to practice with? At the moment I'm set on a pair of Sennheiser RS 180's as I'm seeing good reviews.
Willing to spend a decent amount for quality as I know the tone quality tends to drop with the lower end models.

These aren't wireless, but don't need to be, no amp required.
I have the lead model, decent gain, good effects, perfect for quiet practice.
$79.00 on ebay, $82.00 on Amazon

Looking to pick up a new acoustic soon. I'm going to go try out a bunch of guitars, but was wondering what I should look out for. The price range I'm going for is below $500. I know the Taylor Big Baby, and Seagull S6 are pretty well recognized, and right now I'm most interested in the Seagull Entourage because it's basically the S6 with a smaller neck. Any other suggestions though? Anything that sounds better for less? Haha

I have finally set my eyes on a gorgeous strat, the 1965 american standard stratocaster (2014 edition)
Nitrocellulose laquer, vintage low output pickups, thicker c-shape neck, 3-way switch (which I will change to 5-way when I get it), rosewood fretboard.
Best of all is that I got the chance to play a genuine '65 strat (which costs $16 600, yikes) which was by far the most amazing guitar I have ever laid hands on.
I forgot I was even playing it, I was just sitting there making music and getting goosebumps. And since this newly made vintage edition strat is exactly replicated from the original '65 strats I know I will get the same amazing type of guitar that is so easy to play that it feels like an extension of myself..
Kind of off topic: Speaking of vintage-esque guitars, check this jam out by John Mayer (no singing, just playing, he's an amazing guitarist)

I notice you have a digitech rp500. I have the same one. I see you have a few pedals. What is your signal chain like? Seems like the dang thing does not like to have pedals ran with it. I also have tried a couple times to do the pedalboard mode to use the amp distortion in a couple of my amps and it sounded like crap like the effects where kinda out there.
