I started my lean bulk with AMS 1AD/4AD.

- happy with the results of the cycle. I continued to gain into PCT; T911 @ 3-4 tabs/day, Nolva @ 20mg/day, Clomid @ 60-90mg/day.

20 lbs. Yes, it's considerable, but there are other reasons for why I was able to attain this.

* I've had this super-paranoia about bulking/gaining weight because I'm scared of seeing new layer on my stomach, and adding fat mass. Last time I bulked, Fall 2006, I gained 35 lbs in 3.5 month. Diet consisted of hamburger, beans, fries - all homecooked - chicken, oatmeal, eggs, etc.. Got chunky as hell. BLOOATED. I never wanted to do this again.

* Prior to this lean mass 'bulk', I had been starving my body on 2,500 calories a day for the past 6-7 months. Like I said, I always feared gaining fat, and hence I kept myself from potentially having gained more muscle in that time period, HAD I kept up with a sufficient caloric intake for growth. I've been LEAN as hell since last summer . . . maintaining it was never a problem. When I began this mini-'bulk', I utilized 1-3 mass gainer shakes/day, as well, adding up to 1,800 calories/day. Using this at the proper time allowed me to better absorb nutrients. I've also been using ALA and Legal Gear's SLIN for nutrient partitioning with these high-carbohydrate meals/shakes.

* I keep switching things up in my training. I get tons of motivation from friends up at the gym here, and it keeps me blasting through every day. Seeing the results I"m experiencing is a great feeling. The Alpha Male feeling once that pump is ON is unbelievable.

Im trying to slim down but also keep packing on muscle. Ive always been paranoid about getting to thick in the midsection like you seem to be. Do you think I could take gainer shakes 2-3 times daily but still keep low body fat? im prob getting close to 2800-3000 cal a day and im taking the Animal Stak right now. also what weight gain shake were you using?
