Im always confident and what not.
but all the time, JUST before a fight, i'd get freaked out and sort of hesitate.
I'd not back down, but i'd still get freaked out.
I've never really gotten into a real fight, because some way or the other, nothing ends up happening.
Still hate the feeling though, makes me feel like im a coward.
What can i do??

i get that feeling like when your on a roller coaster like your heart kinda drops, i kinda like it. most people are scared of the unknown, and in a fight you never know what could happen, if its just a normal fight and the dude isnt a scumbag your just gonna end up with some bruises if that.

its normal to feel nervous and hesitent before a fight
u kno wut helps
play the song die motherfcker die
blast speakers all the way up
and just listen.
Also try to get mad before the fight.
i snap so easly that my adreniline takes over so quickly even in the smallest situation.
Like if someone gives me a dirty look or sumthin i just snap or just says somthing wrong to me.
i also road rage alot./
than agian i got some anger problems lolI rep back/neg back(might be on recharge/spread)

**** that ****.
you need epinephrine, ASAP.
once you got the adrenaline in you, there is no such thing as pain.
hit yourself across the face a couple times, whatever.
but you better be the one to throw the first punch, make sure that bitch gets it good.
if he started it, you finish it. the fight is all that matters.
never start a fight though.

I got in a fight once, and I broke the other persons cheek bone, collar bone, three ribs, tore there ACL, and they had to get 27 stitches.
I had the fight video, but deleted it because it was incriminating evidence.
it started as a 2v1 fight with my friend and two wannabes, and in a 2v2 fight, me and my friend kicking the **** out of them.

You don't ever keep from being afraid, it's natural, and a real fighter uses it to his advantage, you're not a coward, you're a human, it's called adrenaline, but I HIGHLY ADVISE YOU TO FIGHT IN THE RING OR NOT AT ALL unless among friends, just don't go picking sht with ppl

lol, the shin can be broken, the knee cannot. (in conventional terms, not literally.)
and I dunno, I'm currently being trained by a professional boxer with a 7-3 win loss record, and the owner of my gym who used to be an MMA fighter, and all their friends.
the boxer owns a fighting gym that is financed by the gym the MMA fighter owns.
and a Shaolin Kung Fu dojo downtown on occasion.

Just watch Never Back Down before the fight and you'll be good to go. /sarcasm
Everyone is nervous before a fight man, but the one thing you absolutely cannot have in your mind is the fear of losing. Never think you're gonna lose, even if the guy is 50 pounds bigger just know that you're gonna kick his ass. Once you think your gonna lose, odds are you will get your ass beat bad. A positive attitude in a fight goes a long way, not saying you'll win because of it though.
Edit: Autumnpanda, I respect you for actually training before Never Back Down came out, that movie has done society no good.
