    Best food to eat before/after workout

    what is the best food to eat 1 hour before and after your workout?

    I just had my protein shake a banana and an apple, is that ok?

    Carbs before workout (energy) but i usually eat carbs and protein :P

    Then protein shake after workout then hour after that i eat meal with carbs and protein and fat (3-4 eggs in sandwich-4 slices of wholemeal bread, 100g chicken breast.

    Eggs are the fats aswell as added protein

    I usualy have 2-3 eggs. Usualy in an omelet with a little chease. Lettice, tomato and Rye bread.
    Bannanna, and my protine shake.

    sweat potatos are excellent source of complex carbs and taste goood

    fruits are good before and after to because they have simple carbs so ur body digests them faster and along with complex carbs 30-45 mins after workout.

    It doesn't matter how fast you eat them; however, it is preferable for them to be digested and metabolized quickly so as to "spike" blood glucose and, inherently, insulin levels.
    Allegedly enhances cellular uptake of nutrients but the rate of ingestion is irrelevant.
